Dehradun: On the occasion of International Museum Day on 18th May 2024, Purana Darbar Trust, Uttarakhand Culture Department, Sanskar Bharti Uttarakhand Province, Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Mahadevi Kanya Mahavidyalaya, will showcase the history, literature, culture, archaeology, anthropology, traditional hill architecture of Uttarakhand. An exhibition and painting competition based on the style and a one-day seminar were organised. Whose chief guest was Mrs. Savita Kapoor MLA, State President Sanskaar Bharti Uttarakhand Province, special guest was Mrs. Madhu Bhatt, special guest was Mr. Kishan Chand Naudiyal.

Uttarakhand

In this program, research papers based on history, culture, archeology, literature etc. of Uttarakhand were read. Life Time Achievement Awards were also given by Purana Darbar Trust for unforgettable contributions in various fields. In which Mrs. Savita Kapoor, President of Sanskar Bharti Uttarakhand Province was awarded for social concerns, Padmashree Dr. Madhuri Barthwal, historian Padmashree Yashwant Katoch etc. were awarded for the preservation of folk songs.

Along with this, students from various schools and institutions participated in the painting competition.

In this program, students of various institutions/universities/schools made traditional paintings based on the culture, archaeology, literature and history of Uttarakhand in the form of paintings related to Maula Ram style, Almora style, Aipan style.
Children above 15 years of age participated in this competition.
In which prizes were given in first, second and third category.
Award for best paper category was also given in research paper reading.
Dr. Mamta Singh, Dr. Hariom and Mr. Tanveer Singh were on the jury in the painting competition.
Certificates were given to all the students who participated in painting.
